CAN MAKE ART
FILM DIRECTOR & SCREENWRITER
My name is Oriane and I am an international awarded Paris-based Screenwriter and Film Director.
In 2021, I wrote and directed the short-film "The Wild Smell of You" exploring the role our senses play in desire. In 2024, I wrote, directed and produced for the Olympics 2024 the short film "Should I stay or should I go?" that questions the stereotypes about women and football. It won an award for the Phénoménales competition and it will be broadcast on National French Television (France TV) soon.
With the desire to explore the commercial format, I turned my movies into fake 15' and 30' TV/digital commercials for North Face and the perfume brand Etat Libre d'Orange.
I'm currently writing a feature films questioning violence and teenagehood and a mini-series about the rape culture in the cinema industry.
I'm also part of the collectif 50/50. I'm advocating for a more balanced representation of women and men on screen. I co-founded the non-profit organization "Deuxième Focale" that aims at producing and promoting movies with a female gaze.
